so apparently just before Haydn died Napoleon invaded Vienna, where Haydn lived, but Napoleon told his army to lay down straw in front of Haydn’s house so the noises of the carriage wouldn’t bother him. 

Then 3 days after Haydn died people went into his grave, decapitated him and studied his brain to see why he was a musical genius. Long story short, the head of Haydn was passed around Vienna until in the 1950’s the police took it and buried it.
